Music selections from around the world, featuring Baroque period, with orchestration and soloists. We have been performing choral works since 1967, in various venues and various organizations. The OCS was officially formed in its current governance in 2007. You are invited to join us for this Fall 2017 season. We are a non-audition choir. We ask that you are able to read music.
This season we are featuring various graduate level students from Wayne State University and University of Michigan as choir singing coaches, to assist the Associate Conductor in preparation for the season. Our concert date for the Baroque Around the World is November 19, 2017. Venue is St James Episcopal church, Birmingham.
